How To Change Mode? ·Mode 1 (Night Mode): Long press the switch for 3-5s till the BLUE indicator lights up. The strong magnet holds the light bar even to the bottom of coated wire shelving, and the unit is lightweight, which helps. Recharge time is reasonable, red and blue light indicators are helpful to know what mode it is in. I dropped one, and the cover over the lights came loose; I pressed it back into place and it has stayed so far, so the simplicity and ease of how it “shrugged off” the damage was nice. I bought a different brand of light bars at the same time to compare the two, and I much prefer this set – they are brighter, have better motion sensitivity, are lighter weight, and have a magnet more suitable to my needs.
